CBG, LLC. Maintenance Services specializes in Metal Disintegration using state-of-the-art disintegrators and Hydrokinetics ™, a patented process for cleaning heat exchangers and industrial piping. Our single goal is to maximize asset uptime for all our customers.

Our metal disintegration services provide our customers with the quickest and most cost effective means of removing broken bolts, broken studs, and taps in large stationery equipment and heavy vehicles. We offer bolt removal in our shop or at the customer's facility.

The above picture is a shot of our machine taking a broken fastener out of a Georgia-Pacific turbine assembly. CBG was onsite during their planned shutdown and was able to rapidly remove the bolt and get them back on schedule. Having CBG available as onsite standby saved them many hours of downtime and over 50% of the cost they would have incurred had they needed to call us for an emergency mobilization.

Metal Disintegration
Metal Disintegration on an engine

This process enables almost any metal to be broken down into minute particles. It works by combining a cutting action with a continuous series of high frequency electric arcs. An electrode held in the cutting head of the disintegrator vibrates as it cuts. Simultaneously, a non-hazardous water coolant is pumped through the electrode to wash away the powdered metal.

We offer full service metal disintegration and bolt removal in our shop or at the customer's facility.
